Dr Dany joined Highland Pediatrics in 2009 

Education & Professional Commitments: University of Pennsylvania, SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn, Westchester Medical Center. Dany is a certified lactation counselor and assisted Charlton Memorial Hospital to gain certification as a Baby-Friendly Hospital as a part of a UNICEF/WHO global initiative. 

Life Beyond the Office:  Dr Dany enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and anything with chocolate.

Interview with Dr Dany

Q.  What did you want to be when you grew up? 

Dr. Dany:  I decided in the 6th grade that I wanted to be a pediatrician. 

Q. What advice do you have for new parents? 

Dr. Dany:  Enjoy every sleepless moment, they grow up very fast.

Q. What is something on your bucket list? 

Dr. Dany:  Rent an RV and take a family vacation to visit as many national parks as we can.

Q. What is your favorite ice cream flavor?

Dr. Dany: Ben and Jerry’s Cherry Garcia!

Q. Who is your favorite Superhero and why? 

Dr. Dany:  Wonder Woman.  I have so many fun childhood memories of using aluminum foil to make the WW bracelets and tiara, making a lasso from a belt, and playing superheroes and villains with my siblings.
